It is one of the rarest and extortionate variety of tea. It is smooth on the stomach and is famous for its sweet, unique, fruity and fermented aroma. It has many health benefits such as it prevents cholesterol, atherosclerosis, inflammatory bowel diseases, diabetes and many more.

Oolong Tea

It is a healthy habit followed by many people starting from China to various parts of the globe. Many people use this for weight loss purpose especially followed in India majorly.  Oolong tea drinkers have a lower risk of many diseases like diabetes, prevents the development of cancer cells, relieves atopic dermatitis and many more.

Black Tea

The black tea is of stronger flavor which retains its flavor for several years. It has many health benefits, such as it prevents cancer, gives you healthy bones, low risk of diabetes, stress release, better immune system and creates a healthy digestive system.

Rooibos

Rooibos Tea

Rooibos tea is also known as red tea or red bush tea and it is found in South Africa. Rooibos is a herbal tea and is not related to green or black tea.  It has well-known health benefits such as it helps to cure a headache, insomnia, asthma allergies and premature aging. It is famous because of its unique taste and color.

Mate usually known as Yerba mate is a traditional drink made from the dried leaves of an evergreen holly, Ilex paraguariensis, a native plant of South America. Mate is the national drink of Argentina, renowned for its ability to rejuvenate and provide focus. It is not much consumed in many parts of the world due to its taste; however, you would like to have it because of the way it makes you feel.

It is named so, because the leaves of honeybush flowers are commonly used to make this herbal tea. It doesn’t turn bitter even after simmering for long hours. It contains many minerals which are essential for human health. It healthy in early menopause, blood and sugar level control, reducing cholesterol and even in cold and flu.

It’s a beverage made of various herbs, spices and can be served hot or cold. It’s probably the oldest form of consuming tea. Herbal teas are loaded with antioxidants which are helpful in reducing the harmful effects of oxidative stress and radicals that are the main reasons behind cancer.

I am a regular Honey Bush drinker, it really helps me to control my Cholesterol level. Thanks for sharing the benefits of other tea’s, it is really helpful. I would love to try Rooibos as I never heard anything about it.

Green tea, be it tea bags or loose leaves, should be stored properly. Exposure to air can cause your tea to go stale or make it lose its flavor. Light can degrade the tea leaves, both the color and the flavor. It can also set off reactions that make the tea lose its antioxidant properties.
